Final repairs to last year's storm damage.

When we moved in last year, we had no idea that right alongside the church parsanoge, there had been a carport. We were told that the high costal winds took it right over the roof where it landed on the front yard. By the time we moved in most of the debri had been cleared and we were told the church would look into replacing the carport with a garage. Today, a little over a year after the storm, the garage work has begun.

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to begin my morning with an excavator in the back yard and three men completly focused on tairing apart the concrete slab right outside my dinning room window. Our cat is going crazy but I am sipping coffee and happily working knowing that soon, I will not only get a new home for my volvo but my husband's tools and all of the studio equiptment I have had in storage since moving from Kansas. Yay! What a happy day....
