Daddy's Girl


I'd be lying if I said that everything is well and dandy in our world right now. Many things are going on right now of which I don't even want to begin describing. Things seem to hit so much harder when all you want to do is take your child's pain away.

In times like these I go back to the truth of the matter.  There is hope.  Our world is still lit with hope and abundant grace.  God is in control of Naomi's conditions. He loves her more than I could ever fathom.  He is good.

Today seeing my wonderful husband take our little girl's hand and wade in the ocean with her, I found it was God's way of showing me the perfect picture of what he is doing with her and us. Holding our hand through my rough waters and perfectly being our strength.
