Caution Women Under Construction!

Don't you just love girl-friend time? The converstaions. The laughter. The fun chaos. I try to schedule this into my life. I find I need this time with close friends to just let loose and relax outside the structured day to day that is my wonderful life.

Recently I was able to observe this type of girl time. I received a phone call from Nancy asking me to be a vendor at Springtime Spectacular, a Church of the Nazarene women's retreat. I hesistated because I don't really consider myself a 'vendor' rather a commisioned artist-but after some thought I realized this could be a time for me to be rejuvenated as well as an opportunity to get out of the routine and try something new.

I loved the theme; Women Under Construction. Isn't that the truth! Here are some event  highlights I captured. From the worship team doing "Caution Women Under Construction" to the tune of YMCA complete with motions (Hillarious!), to the moving speaker and even the little details of the hand crafted favors the women were given during meal times.

Oh and for those of you who are curious to what I ended up doing... I just provided eye candy! Beautiful images on a large flat screen, canvas wraps, albums and framed portraits. This brought many to my table to just talk photography. I loved being able to give some tips and tricks and just show off my passion!

  1. It was wonderful just having you there! It made me realize all the more that your business is more than just a professional endeavor, it's a MINISTRY! I pray blessings over your business as you work for the glory of God alone!
