Project 52 {Tillamook Photographer} {Tillamook Photography}

I love to learn and grow. Let me restate that. I like looking back and seeing the process of growth.  I love knowing I have been changed and grown in a positive way somehow. I don't always like the process of growth- but I have a feeling I'm not the only one! Yeah, I know your out there nodding your head in agreement- don't deny it....

I saw this opportunity to grow this year and thought it would be a great challenge for me.  I noticed this last year as business picked up I barely photographed my children.  I hang my head in shame but must be truthful in this.  This year I vow to continue shooting for the fun of it and allow my camera some freedom when I am not working on an assignment.  I need to be able to shoot for myself as I did before becoming 'Imago Dei Photography'.  Don't get me wrong I love shooting for clients but find that it is far too easy to get in a rut.  I need variety and creativity and this is where MCP project 52 comes in.

I am committing to photograph just for fun at least once a week.  I am really looking forward to each week's theme and getting my creativity flowing! I am not committing to always blogging about it as I just can't add another task on my to do list at the moment, but do hope to get some time to share.

If you enjoy photography as much as I do and wish to join MCP project 52- go for it!  It is never too late to join and there is no time commitment.  You simply give what you can.  If you decide to do it, shoot me a message and I will be sure to cheer you on- :)

  1. I SO do understand about change and growth and the process. Hey, that's what my blog is all about! :)
    No really, I think it's a great idea to make it a point to do this with your pictures. I should tell my mom about it too.
