Lavender Field and Family Heirlooms {Bay City Photographer}

It's not very often a husband contacts me with the desire to capture his growing family.  I love it when a husband-a dad, realizes that capturing today for tomorrow's sake is extremely important.  So with John valuing this time in their lives we set out to document it months back.  He wanted us to use Heidi's lavender fields.  (She is also a small business owner and sells her different varieties at the Tillamook Farmers' Market so be sure to check that out!)  

The day of the shoot was pretty gloomy looking.  The clouds looked threatening and to be honest I was very anxious about the weather changing quickly on us.  We managed to have such a good time though.  Through sharing smarties, promise of Tillamook Ice-cream afterwards and even some silly stories we were able to capture smiles but more importantly the relationship dynamic of this beautiful young family.
