Traditions and Country charm

He was among the tall cousins from Maryland that she had heard her friend Michelle talk about for years.  She, the student that his aunt had taught for years.  They met and never once put together that they had been the subject of conversation for some time.  Through time a friendship formed.  Friendship lead to a natural love.

With the help of family and friends they shared a lovely mix of traditional and country charm on their spring wedding day. Mark had his father and brother help him get ready to meet his bride.  She had her dear sisters and friends by her side. She wore a traditional gown with delicate lace.  That same gown his mom once wore as she and his father said their "I do's" years before.

Theirs was a lovely mix of a traditional church service with fun at the farm. Katelynn wanted a relaxed country feel to her day and so had her eyes set on a farm theme. With the help of a local Tillamook Dairy and Family, we arranged to make her dream a reality. We staged a First look in front of a working barn. That was the beginning of a beautiful day which is the beginning of a beautiful life shared....

{The first Look:  A time before the ceremony where the groom gets to see his beautiful bride for the first time.  This is always such a special time.}

Radiant the bride walked down the isle to meet her groom. As her father and mother gave their blessing, Katelynn and Mark walked the steps towards the church sanctuary and faced his grandfather, who had the honor of officiating their ceremony.

Following the reception Katelynn changed and we had the opportunity to photograph some more.  The light was better in the afternoon and the joy was evident on their faces so it made for an amazing opportunity to have a little bit more time with the love birds.

 Mark and Katelynn, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. It was an honor.
