A Stunning Wedding in Tillamook Oregon {Rhyon + Melissa}

The piano goes silent.  The room become quiet in thick anticipation.  All heads turn to the back of the beautiful church. "So close" plays as she makes her way down the isle.  Tears flow down throughout the room.  Her Daddy gives her away and fights back tears himself as he presents her to the love of her life.  I tear up and experience has to take over my fingers as I find my eyes too have teared up.  Watching this beautiful bride.  This beautiful friend.  Experience a day so perfect.  So beautiful.....

Rhyon and Melissa, I've written this post several times.  How does one express such a special day?  In this process you went from client to friend and I am just so thankful for you.  I hope these images convey to you the love I have for you both.  The saying goes that a picture is worth a thousand words.  I am hoping these images will express the many words my heart wishes to share with you as you begin your lives in unity.

xoxo ~Xiomara

 I LOVE her sense of style and how her personality shines through each piece she chose for her day.  The shoes below were her dancing shoes.
I would also like to mention that much of her details were hand crafted by her and her mother.  The garter below is a prime example of their artistry.

 Even her stationary was hand crafted

 You guessed it.... the boutonnieres were also made by the bride and her mother.
 Rhyon and Melissa opted for a First Look.  This image was shot just moments after Rhyon saw Melissa for the first time.  I joked that I wouldn't need to ask them to show emotion during their portrait time because they were naturals in front of the camera-- Showing much emotion and love.

 Leave it to Oregon to give us a hot sunny day the first days of September.  It was a challenge photographing in bright daylight with NO shade but we made sure Rhyon and Melissa never worried and enjoyed their portrait time!
 Melissa, you, my dear are stunning!

 One of my favorite parts of a Catholic Ceremony is when the couple's friends and family reach out their hands and bless their marriage.

 Again Melissa, you are simply beautiful.  Inside and out.  What a joy it has been for me to watch you grow in love and in faith.  I must end this post as I sit here listening to "so close" and am in tears remembering the beauty of your day.  A "thank you" just isn't enough to express my gratitude in you and Rhyon choosing me to capture your day but- Thank you.
